moyglare stud – The Team

Stud owner Eva-Maria Bucher-Haefner has the role of Chairman and makes the important decisions regarding horse racing and breeding. Her two adult children Mischa and Chiara are also involved in both areas. Malachy Ryan is the manager and his team is responsible for day-to-day operations. Fiona Craig is the long-standing advisor for breeding and sales.

In 2025, Eva Maria Bucher-Haefner and moyglare stud were inducted into the Irish Racehorse Owners Hall of Fame. In 2026 Eva-Maria Bucher-Haefner was inducted into the Irish Thoroughbred Breeders’ Association Hall of Fame.
